About Me
As an sociologist, computer user and graphic designer I try to reserve time, particularly during the summer, for traveling and photography, which are my passions. I grew up in the South East of Romania, near the Danube and Dobrogea. But the most photos were made in the Carpathians Mountains. I spent four years in Brasov for studies and I climbed the mountains every week-end where I discovered the world of light. |

The two types of photography
I make two types of photography:
1. The most simple is the instant photography: when I see something beautiful and "click!"
2. The most difficult is when I try to express something, a feeling, or an idea. In that case the photo must be perfect technical and as a composition also. The content is the most important. Every detail oft the photo is important when you want to express something...
About My Travels
I travelled in Dobrogea desert one summer, when I was 17 years old and I saw so many beautiful things so I've made a whole film. But when I saw the picture, oh my god, it was a real disaster... Everything that enchanted my eye there was a disaster in those photos. But with time I had many expeditions and I educated my eye. I climbed many mountains: Bucegi, Fagaras, Piatra Craiului, Piatra Mare, Rodnei, Retezat, Parang, Cindrel... The most important thing there was the light in so many beautiful variations. I made many of my trips alone to have the personal time for photos. Photography was an intimate experience for me.
